What Kamloops homeowners say
“Other than the pricing, I do not see any other areas that need improvement. I would highly recommend Interlock Roofing.”
See this roof 2 photos · Black Slate“From the estimator to the installers, everyone at Interlock has been fantastic to work with, great communication, Vlad and his install team were outstanding, efficient, and take great pride in their workmanship. Highly recommend! Great product, great team, outstanding service.”
“There were no areas they needed to improve on. I couldn't be happier with my roof.”
“I would like to move forward on getting the roof done”
“lack of communication from office staff, did not use preferred mode of communication.”
“I got an email correspondence that was a chain of a conversation. There was someone in the office that was quite rude and made us seem like a problem customer with the finances. The timeline and project management didn't go quite as expected. The materials weren't there right away, so there was some disorganization. A really big strength was in resolving problems and sticking with it.”
Roofing in Kamloops: what to plan for
Built for fire season
The Thompson is dry country with long fire seasons, and plenty of homes back onto grassland or forest. Class A is available on our roofs as a complete assembly (two layers of GAF VersaShield® over 12 mm (15/32-inch) plywood, per ASTM E108), and aluminum does not ignite.
Hot summers, hard sun
Kamloops summers are among the hottest in BC. Interlock's Alunar® colours are rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council, and the manufacturer's coating warranty spells out the fade and chalk limits.
Cold snaps and snow
Winters bring cold snaps and snow on the higher ground. A metal roof sheds snow, so snow guards over entries, decks and driveways go in at the estimate, and the light panels leave the framing's capacity for the snow itself.
Locked on four sides
Interlock panels lock to each other on all four sides with the fasteners concealed. Wind resistance is warranted to 193 km/h (120 mph) installed to manufacturer specification.
